Shradha Khapra was born on 1 August 1999 in a small village named Nathupur in Sonipat distric in Haryana. She had a childhood like any other Indian kids living in village in India. They had one small one room house where she used to live with her parents & siblings.

Her father always used to tell her, if you wanna do something in in your life, you have to study well and get well education. As a child, Shradha didi used to love watching TV a lot. Her parents were always supportive to her.

She also used to love participating in singing competitions, dance competitions, sports & many other activities. Although she never won any competition in it😂. In 9th class she joined debating classes in school. That helped her a lot to improve her communication skills.

She had limited access to quality education in her hometown, so she enrolled in Jain Bharati Mrigavati Vidyalaya in Delhi. After 10th standard, Shradha choose science branch despite her family had asked her to chose arts. Her father wanted her to become a teacher but she denied.

She was very good in academics. She scored a perfect 10 CGPA in the 10th grade and 94.4% in the 12th grade. She then pursued computer engineering at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) and graduated with an impressive 8.8 CGPA in 2021.

During her college years, she secured internships at prestigious institutions, such as Microsoft and DRDO. She worked as a software engineer intern at Microsoft for three months in 2019 and as a research trainee at DRDO for one month in 2020. Her talent and hard work paid off, and Microsoft hired her as a full-time software engineer in Hyderabad in July 2021.

Career and Apna College

However, Shradha Khapra had a bigger vision for herself and her country. She wanted to help other people in India get educated about coding and achieve their dreams.

Until third year of engineering, Shraddha had completed two full time internships. After which she had received PPO from company (Pre placement offer). During that time, she did one podcast with popular YouTuber Aman Dhattarwal sir. In which she had to share her internship experience with students.

There used be one series named ‘Pro-Insights‘ on Aman Dhattarwals YouTube channel. During that interview they discussed on problems that most students face in their coding journey. And they decided to help those students. And that's how Apna College idea was born.

She along with Aman Dhattarwal co-founded Apna College in August 2020. Apna College is an online platform that provides free and quality education to millions of students across India who aspire to crack competitive exams like JEE and NEET or learn coding skills.

Shradha Khapra is the coding mentor of Apna College, who teaches various programming languages, data structures, algorithms, web development, app development, machine learning, and more through her YouTube channel and live sessions. She has more than three million subscribers on YouTube and millions of followers on other social media platforms. She is also a celebrity partner of Unacademy, India's largest learning platform.

In February 2023, Aman Dhattarwal surprised Shradha Khapra by proposing to her at Lovely Professional University (LPU) during one event called YouthFest-Sukoon.
