He rented one office studio with one of his friend. Arun was always inspired by tech videos on YouTube and he believed that he could do even better videos than them. One thing you may not know is Arun had created his first channel back in 2011. He had uploaded one or two videos back then. They were some unboxing videos made from his home. They were in English. But then he just let go YouTube and only focused on his blogging.
But in 2016, after renting his new office, he decided to give one more shot to YouTube. He wanted to make some quality videos and he was not very good at editing videos. So he started looking for someone for editing and found his friend Pratik Thakur. After starting, for first 6 months into YouTube, they were just 2 peoples working together from their office. They didn't even had a studio. They just had 300 subscribers when they started working together. After uploading daily videos for the 6 months, they were just getting 200-300 views & 2-5 subscribers per videos.
Being such a small youtuber, it was not possible to get phones from companies for reviews. And they couldn't afford to buy these phones just for the review. They didn't had a camera. They didn't even had a pc for editing. They had rented a pc for good editing.
It took them completely 6 months to reach from 300 to 10k subscribers after uploading daily videos. So you can imagine how much struggle they had to do before they became successful. Trakin Tech got their real start in 2017 when they made OnePlus 5T unboxing videos. That was the first hindi video on the channel. And it got around 10-15k views. They realized the potential of Hindi content and started making videos in Hindi.
Initially Arun was not very good at Hindi, so he learned Hindi. And as they started uploading Hindi videos daily, their channel started booming. Then they got their first digital camera – Canon M50. They didn't even had money to purchase it, they get it on EMI.
Once their channel started growing, the journey became much easier. It only took 3 months to complete 1 Lakh subscribers from 10K subscribers. As they started growing, they hire more people's to add into their team. Each one of them have played a big role in success of Trakin Tech YouTube channel.
